Reflect: If you had to lead a group which style do you think you would fall under?
If i had to lead a group i think i would fall under the democratic leadership style because i would like to get things done but i would also like others to help and be apart of what it is that we are doing. Giving out ideas or helping with the leadership would be a good way of getting others involved and out there especially if they are shy.

Mellisa Hollingsworth the Olympian
Mellisa Hollingsworth is a Canadian competitor in the skeleton, born in Lacombe Alberta and raised in Eckville Alberta. The skeleton is just like the luge but you’re down on your stomach with your face first, a dangerous sport that is, one wrong move even by a little weight shift you could break your neck along with any other bone in your body. You navigate the sled with your body weight. This sled has two ice skate like blades that are just a little longer which helps the sled glide along the ice at top speeds that can reach above 200 mph. At the age of 15 she started her sledding by the side of her cousin Ryan Davenport who was an elite skeleton athlete. It was just three months later she became a national champion. In 2002 she almost quit the sport when she failed to qualify for Salt Lake City where the woman's skeleton would make its debut to the winter olympics. In 2010 Mellisa did not make the podium, she made a great start but a terrible mistake later in the track putting her into fifth place. Mellisa remains one of the top skeleton competitors for the Canadian team.
Mellisa is really passionate with what she has been doing she has gotten a tattoo of the olympic rings on the top of her foot. With her fans back home in Alberta they have a street named after her in her hometown, Mellisa Hollingsworth Avenue. Her inspiration is Marnie McBean who is a three time olympic gold medalist. This country girl loves her two horses Rascal and Pepi, she loves country music and in the off-season of 2013 Mellisa went to Texas working on the ranch of America barrel racer Tammy Fischer. Melissa, who is a great skeleton racer and has a burning passion for this sport will thrive to keep going with this sport, the skeleton.
